India's Finance Minister allocated Rupees.699.13 crore and Rupees.230 crore for Pune Metro and Mula-Mutha Rejuvenation Projects respectively, in the recent Union Budget presentation. A Pune Metro Official, has confirmed the news but is yet to verify the exact amount. A PMC official claimed the Mula-Mutha project to be funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
