PMC is Set to Individually Cater Civic Issues
Pune citizens can now directly report issues related to roads, water supply, waste management, and other civic problems twice a week at the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
Pune residents can now report complaints directly to PMC authorities. This facility has been made available to all after facing many complaints regarding unresponsiveness of the PMC members. This manner of dealing with the residents will help avoid delays in actions. The sessions will be held twice every week in PMC's old building.
The administration has set up a grievance redressal cell in the old PMC's building's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hall, where Additional Commissioners will personally hear complaints every Monday and Thursday (3.30 pm -5.30 pm).
Earlier, citizens struggled to get their issues addressed, often facing delays and unresponsive officials. With this new system, up to 150 people can register complaints in one session. Municipal Commissioner Dr.Rajendra Bhosale inspected the setup, ensuring better accessibility for residents. This initiative aims to streamline civic issue resolution, allowing citizens to voice concerns directly and seek faster action from the authorities.
