Upsurge in Vehicle Sales on Gudi Padwa 2025

Pune witnessed a vibrant market on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, with a notable increase in vehicle purchases. Considered one of the most auspicious days for new beginnings, Gudi Padwa saw over 10,000 vehicle registrations this year, reflecting a growing consumer sentiment and economic connectivity in the city.

Sales of all sorts of vehicles witnessed an upsurge on the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa- a festival considered fit for new beginnings. Reports prove that the sales of vehicles have doubled quite literally, since the past few years.

Compared to last year, vehicle registrations surged, with two-wheeler purchases increasing by over 2,200 units. In 2024, 4,221 two-wheelers were bought on Gudi Padwa, while this year the number rose to 6,510.

Four-wheeler registrations also saw an uptick, from 2,326 last year to 2,424 this year. Additionally, sales of rickshaws, taxis and buses nearly doubled, indicating a broader trend of investment in personal and commercial transport.
