The Maharashtra government has launched e-bike taxi services in Mumbai and other cities, aiming to provide efficient transportation for solo passengers traveling up to 15 kilometers.

The introduction of e-bike taxi services aims to reduce traffic congestion and make travelling easier for solo travelers within the city. Fare structures, guidelines, rules and regulations regarding the process of availing the services is yet to be finalized.

This initiative is expected to enhance urban mobility and reduce traffic congestion. Specific fare structures and operational guidelines are yet to be announced.
