PCMC and PMC Recognized for Their Unwavering Dedication at Rajiv Gandhi Administrative Efficiency Contest

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has secured the first position in the Rajiv Gandhi Administrative Efficiency Contest, while the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) claimed second place.

PCMC and PMC have secured the first and second position in the Rajiv Gandhi Administrative Efficiency Competition respectively. Both the corporations have been appreciated for their innovations, schemes and measures taken to make services easily retrievable for citizens.

PCMC was recognized for its innovative property tax reforms, online services and efficient office management. The implementation of geo-sequencing helped improve tax collection by identifying unregistered and modified properties. Additionally, digital lockers now provide property owners easy access to tax-related documents. PMC's Intelligent Work Management System (IWMS) earned it the second position.

This system enhances budget tracking, contract management, and project execution transparency. City Engineer Prashant Waghmare emphasized its role in improving efficiency across departments. The achievements of PCMC and PMC highlight their leadership in modern urban governance, setting an example for municipalities across Maharashtra.
