MSRDC Has Assured Timely Completion of the Project After Review of Pune-Mumbai Expressway Link
The much-awaited Missing Link project on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway is nearing completion, with both tunnels fully constructed and valley bridge work 84% complete. The project, expected to open by August-end, will shorten the Pune-Mumbai route by 6 km, reducing travel time by 20-25 minutes.
The Missing Link project of the Pune-Mumbai Expressway has nearly been concluded and is expected to be fully operational by the end of August. The creation of the link has had global involvement and has endured many tests, proving to be worthy of public use. Additionally, the MSRDC has assured timely completion.
Designed by Taiwan's Viacom Company, wind tested in Denmark, and using cables from Malaysia, the 13.3 km stretch will bypass the winding Bor Ghat section, reducing landslide risks. During a recent site visit, officials from the Marathi Construction Business Association reviewed the progress, while MSRDC assured timely completion.
Meanwhile, the Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID) hosted a lecture on the new Parliament and Prime Minister's office interiors, attended by over 250 professionals. Experts discussed upcoming trends and design innovations.
