Pune has recently been experiencing hotter than usual days. However, the temperature reached its peak on Wednesday. The days are expected to get hotter. By March-end, relief is expected to come in the form of lesser temperature, IMD predicts.
Weather experts suggest that Pune's Shivajinagar may reach 40°C by March-end. However, relief is on the way, as IMD forecasts milder days ahead due to increasing cloud cover, which may reduce the intensity of the heat in the coming days.
